At the famous port of Las Galletas you will find the new and innovative bar/restaurant El Bajío. Located in a corner, El Bajío has a terrace over the port and the see and with a magnificent view where you could have lunch or dinner with completely peace and quiet. The way of cooking and the professional attitude of its owners, Walter and Mariana, guarantee the satisfaction of the costumers. You can choose from a wide variety of plates: the delicious paella; the tapas; seafood or the specialty of the house, goat meat. You can also taste the great selection of wines from the islands like the Grifo Malvasia from Lanzarote or the Albariño or fruity Miranda from La Orotava. El Bajío also offers special menus, like the squid plate with two beers for six euros on Mondays or Tuesdays or a plate of king prawns and a good bottle of wine for 18€. You can also have sandwiches with drinks or snacks and enjoy them seated in the comfortable and original lounge-style couches, listening to the best chill- out and jazz music. From Thursdays to Sundays there is live music: jazz, flamenco, classical music and musicians playing the Spanish Guitar, the flute, percussion, the pianoforte, the double bass or the typical Canary timple.
